Oh well - started on a Peter Powell in 1976 - then moved to Bristol (England) in 1991 where I saw my first flexifoil (and HONESTLY thought they moved SO fast thay must have an engine on them!) and got into powerkiting - moved to Swansea in South Wales met others who \'did\' kites too - got involved in the start of the PKA (Parakart Association) - worked at Spider Kites for a year or two - raced buggies across europe and sent a team to the first(?) Buggy Boogie Thang in the US - moved to the \'Holy Grail\' that is Pembrey/Pendine in Wales where I had 2/3 years of endless fun and terror on that windswept vastness (top wind I went buggying in was averaging 98mph and peaked at 112mph! - and I didn\'t have a speedo on the buggy! - flying a 0.6m2 home-made 4-line parafoil - without at harness - I was WASTED in about 20 minutes)
That\'s about it really…
Now alas - I am in London and longing for those days on Pembrey!
So! - I\'m going to move to Australia next year - Perth to be specific so I can buggy 24/24 24/7 7/7 etc...
