I agree with you completely with the greatness of the PKF family in this regard. More than a few times I've gotten messages (either in threads or U2U) from fellow PKF members with heads up about certain potential transactions that for whatever reason has their Spidey Sense up. Those sorts of things are worth GOLD in my opinion.

On a separate note, seeing this veritable laundry list of folks you've recently done business with gives me keen insight as to why your better half has you on the ultra-short kite buying line. Gives whole new meaning to the "walk of shame" leash. :evil:

From my first interaction with him to this most recent and all those between, Chris continues to be FANTASTIC to work with. I realize being new to this particular forum some may think I don't carry much weight here but I truly appreciate the opportunity to purchase an unbelievably excellent Peter Lynn Hornet from Windstruck!

Steve was very quick to respond to my post and went out of his way to give me an outstanding explanation of this kite along with sharing some of the experience he has with me. He literally took care of lining up shipping in the middle of a Friday night to make sure that I was assured that I would get it by the end of the next week!

This kite was in superb condition which was actually better than Steve described in my Opinion! I hope to sometime in the future have the pleasure of dealing with him again!

I haven't posted on this thread in some time but I just had a round of transactions where trust and respect were rampant. I love how well this forum works and how we all look out for each other.

I sold kites to Mainekite and treblehook and everyone got what they expected the way they expected it with money and kites crossing the country at the same time in some cases. I hope you guys feel the same way.

Just got a big box of arcs from Smeagol which finally gets me one of the big arcs floating around in North America. I now own Big Blu. I can't wait to give her a try on a flat beach with a smooth wind sometime soon. I'll give her a go at the park and maybe try her out on the water as well.

This is a first for me but of all the kites I've sold, I've never bought one back. Now I have my still like new 15m Phantom back in the quiver. It's had at least a few owners but looks to be in exactly the same condition it was in when I sold it. I wonder how much it's been flown since then.

This kite now has extra sentimental value. It was my first arc and I spent hours on the phone with tridude gaining some education and confidence to buy and fly my first arc. Don came to fly with me at the beach on one of our camping trips close to Charleston and he said it was awesome to see this Phantom flying above the trees when he was driving into Edisto Island.

I wanted to give a big positive shout out to Utahtami. I just bought a 15m Ozone Summit with Re-Ride from her. I'd been traveling for two weeks so it sat in its box for a while. Got it out this AM and opened it up on my driveway. Wow! It is in great shape, was impeccably folded (man, I need to take notes) and crispy, crispy. Expected very good and got GREAT! I want to give a BIG positive shout out to Van for his outstanding VTT rail and seat upgrade kit for my PL Bigfoot+. Van was great to work with throughout this process and very responsive to my inquires even though he is super busy doing non-VTT things.

I never realized how uncomfortable my stock seat was until I rode in my new and improved buggy today. Thanks Van!!!! :alien::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Spent three wonderful days at IBX last week on the Ivanpah playa. I never knew how uncomfortable my OEM rails and seat were on my PL Bigfoot until I spent time in Van's sweet setup. Holy Mackerel, now that's an upgrade!!!! :D

Hey Brandon, thanks!!! I really hope you are able to get the fourth BF rim and wheel set up so you can upgrade that chariot. Very worthy cause. Glad you liked the extra playa dust; I could have scrubbed it off, but how are you going to get that sort of stuff out where you live?

As for 4m Access, what remains on my wish list as I refine my quiver is a 4m Access V6 and 12m Summit V3. These are the two newest models of these kites, both with Ozone's venerable Re-Ride system I remain so enamored with. I know just where to buy them (Hardwater) and when the tide and moon are just right sometime this year I'll pull the trigger.

Ditto for Rob (Cheddarhead), man did exactly what he said he'd do regarding payment and also provided excellent communication. I wouldn't hesitate to do more business with him. I'm very pleased that the DH skis he just got will be put to good use. Thinking about him getting good use out of them far exceeds the financial transaction for me.

You can thank Syd for the parapacking! I bought a 15m Summit from Tami last year and was astounded, dumbfounded, and blown away by the packing job. 15m is a lot of nylon and I felt guilty undoing the fine work knowing it would never look that good again in my hands! One of the wonderful simple pleasures of shopping with UtahTami. Gotta say though, the BigFoot tires on Sysmic rims came just stuffed in a box. What gives? :lol:

He and I entered into a gentleman's agreement these past weeks for him to buy a 12m Peak3 but make installments over time as sales from some kites he had on the block cleared out. He just paid me his final installment and everything went as smooth as silk. I love a good win-win like this and would happily deal with him again any day.

Another huge fan of Jeff bigkid. In the last couple of months I have got 4 kites from him for very good prices and very quick shipping. Also, equaly important, I have got a ton of advice every time I have asked a question.
One of the kites that was purchased as used was still crispy. I think I roughed it up more on my first flight, today, than all the miles that Jeff had put into it.

At fall SOBB wind dog and I discovered that we both had opposite-miss matched wheel sets(large bearing vs small bearing). With some arranging between us, Ricks son and my wife, we were able to swap wheels and now each of us only need to use one size of bearings each. Thanks Rick.
