They say a Picture is worth a thousand words?
Your doing GREAT Todd keep up the good work!bobalooie57 - 27-3-2011 at 05:17 AM
I hope you don't mind, I saved that pic to use as my new background, 'cuz it made me smile. I could wake up smiling every day seeing that, knowing I
had some good friends like that. You guys are awesome! GO TODD!!!WELDNGOD - 27-3-2011 at 06:24 AM
where did the Flexi come from? Short of Rich's Bullet,I thought I was the only team member who flew Flexisshehatesmyhobbies - 27-3-2011 at 06:26 AM
I have a really nice shot of him in his hospital garb and his Monster helmet with the gopro attached! I was hoping they would let him wear it in the
operating room! I won't post that pic, I don't want to embarrass him! It is cool though!bobalooie57 - 27-3-2011 at 06:34 AM
Oh, BTW, you get to keep it, right Todd? I mean, they wouldn't take back that hospital cheer, now would they? :saint: God speed on the
recovery!Chad - 27-3-2011 at 07:10 AM
We were looking for items to put in his room and thought about putting a kite up but all I had were Beamers and I didn't think they were bright enough
so Rich was gracious enough to lend his to the cause. I do have a small window kite stuck on the clock in his room to remind him that it is time to
fly but that didn't get in the picture.
BTW he is doing great and getting better by leaps and bounds!rocfighter - 27-3-2011 at 12:22 PM
Is that Mrs. Todd in the picture with you? My eyes are older and it's a small picture. Glad to see you on a coutch and not in a bed hooked to
machines. Keep up the strong thoughts and get better soon.Corman - 27-3-2011 at 02:06 PM
Sorry, this pic was taken when Dad was still in surgery. That's Lee and Crisi in there on the couch. On the left is Dad and my helmetkiteetik - 27-3-2011 at 04:10 PM
glad youre feeling better Todd and Corey too......rocfighter - 27-3-2011 at 05:02 PM
OH Man I am sorry. I just assumed it was him. To assume makes an ass (of) u (and) me.macboy - 27-3-2011 at 11:08 PM
You know, I sometimes feel like "it doesn't need to be said" so I don't. And I sit here reading these posts thinking about you guys......and my step
mom who, hasn't heard these things that "don't need to be said". Todd, I LOVE seeing this support rallied around you (myself included) but I want to
thank all of the supporters for showing me as plain as can be that I should just share what's in my heart with her.
Corey - I hear ya and agree with rocfighter....sometimes ya gotta feel it and let it out. Once you sort it out you can get on with what my step mom
refers to as "the new normal". She was deemed 'inoperable' when she was diagnosed 2 years ago so you can imagine how the waterworks were but, taking
each day as a precious gift and just living the 'new normal' has made each day a celebration. Chemo was rough on her but they've beaten it back and
she feels fantastic now and has the same zest for life that she always had - if not even more of a zest.
Just thought I'd share. It's not easy but love, faith, family and friends help ease the burden. After 2 years we actually kinda forget about the
cancer - don't focus on it at all...it's become that much of a 'normal'.
Prayers to you guys and all of this PKF family. You are all quite a special bunch....and I don't mean 'special' like a cookie shehatesmyhobbies - 28-3-2011 at 06:19 AM
Very well said Macboy. My mother is also a cancer survivor. She is 8 years removed now. There also was a big adjustment just trying to cope with
everyday struggles of cancer, and it's effects on her. Once our family got in a routine, it was like you said, you almost stop thinking about it on a
daily basis.
Support is definitely a huge ingredient to getting through cancer.
You are right about the PKF family, it is a great bunch of people. With continued support from PKF, and the rest of his family and friends, Todd
should be in the buggy before we know it.
Corey you are still doing a great job! Hang in there bro!Todd - 28-3-2011 at 08:53 AM
Very rough past few days with a splitting headache and terrible pains in the abdomen, didn't get out X-ray until 3:15 this morning. Demurral pump was
just squeaking out enough to somewhat dull the pain but increase a headache, go figure. Getting set up for a new shot that made me talk to myself It's been crazy but thank you all for still thinking on me.pokitetrash - 28-3-2011 at 10:00 AM
Glad your feeling well enough to PKF Todd! Just be sure to stay away from the keyboard when the drugs hit hard. Drunk Texting usually ends
badly...:wow:acampbell - 28-3-2011 at 10:12 AM
Prolly your head hurts Todd because you don't have your helmet on. Try that and feel better. Hope to see you at JIBErocfighter - 28-3-2011 at 11:03 AM
I think you need caffine. A couple days without coffee and I'm a wreck. But they most likely wont let you have that yet. Hang in there and watch lots
of videos of NABX over the next week or so. Popeye says he will be posting with his new camera.Chad - 30-3-2011 at 05:06 AM
Hi all,
Todd is improving to the point that he could be released this week and maybe as soon a today or tomorrow? but I do not want to jinx it :tumble: Please
keep him in your prayers as he comes home and starts to get his world back together with work and riding/flying with friends. We have missed him
dearly and can not wait until he can hang with the gang again. I am sure it will take some time to readjust to a new healthy life style as it would
for anyone  like myself... but we are all here for you buddy! Todd does have some news to tell but i will save that for him. His wifi at the
hospital is less then Par at best so he is not on as much as he would like to be.
thats it for now..
Thank you all again for all of your support.
BTW the Cookies were awesome!!!! and yes he did eat some (don't tell the Doctor) lol

I was really shocked to get the message from him saying he was home today! Had to call his cell phone just to make sure it was not a mistake.
Todd, I am glad you are home and I also can't wait to get back on the field with you. You know you have my support. You have a great group of friends
around you ready to help get you back up to par!
See you soon bro!WELDNGOD - 30-3-2011 at 10:41 AM

And yes he did have his helmet on with gopro running!rocfighter - 31-3-2011 at 04:55 AM
This is uplifting news. Congrats on your release. I hope you don't miss all the nurses attention
On a more serious issue. I remember when I was sent home from months in the hospital it was a shock. I was used to people being around 24/7 and was
never alone. Once home I was lost as to what to do. I know your situation is differant than mine. But I was very depressed after a couple days home.
The fan fare ended and I found myself talking to only me( a good listener but not much to say) Reach out and let some one know if you need it.
Again congrats and we look forward to seeing you as soon as you are up to it.tridude - 1-4-2011 at 12:55 PM
