Yeah that will be nice, but will the road go anywhere? Or will it stop at a closed lakebed? Anybody checked it out lately?

Yes, and Dave C and i will be there to make sure the kite flyers are represented and for sure.

Yesterday i could not believe how much water was gone from the lake.

Keep fingers crossed, it could be buggy time soon at Elmers!

Yesterday afternoon I was watching the weather sites for all the dry lakes. Apparently there was so much water evaporating it appeared on radar as rain forming from Barstow to Elmers and from Vegas to Primm. Of course all the rain gauges were empty! :singing:

Let's see if i can get some pictures here for you. The opening was a sucess, many people from all over were there along with law enforcement from all over.

There will be a visitors center built in the next two years, and it will have a kite buggy in it!

The road is now paved and open though the lake remains closed. More as we get it!
