I bought a used Quad Trac Pro Foil 3.5 and did not buy the lines that were offered because I was going to make my own lines (15M).
Now I am stuck. Is this kite designed to fly 4 line. My only other bridel experience is a Beamer 3.6.
After looking at it for awhile it seems that is should fly 4 line and the rear (te) lines are brake lines. I am flying with a bar and can modify as
needed.
I hope this makes sense.

the rear lines are indeed brake lines.... you may be able to tie them (in a larks head knot) to the point where the other bridles come together. some
kites just dont fly well with that setup, though.... you may be better off with handles....
have you even tried handles? they offer quite a bit more control over the kite.... most people prefer handles with fixed brodle kites, anyway...garydog - 8-7-2009 at 09:50 AM
Thanks. As for handles I ride mostly a mountain board with a bar.

Yes, that kite is a 4 line kite and I imagine was designed to fly on handles. Seems like that kite powers up and has much enhanced turning when you
apply some pressure to the brake handles, but I haven't flown that kite in 6-7 months.Drewculous - 8-7-2009 at 10:45 AM
