'nother great one

but dude! did you land on that kite in the beginning?!? Thats cold! lol, and what did you almost hit at 1:30?

No, that was sweet stuff, i like the editing at the end! Getting up there with Hadlow's videos, get a couple of those shots, and that'd be awesome!

(this is the kind of camera work you gotta get going:thumbup: )
[i didnt want to post up another vid on your thread, but the camera work is really good in this vid]

Keep the vids comming tho! Always a blast to watch!

carltb - 13-7-2009 at 08:22 AM

i "grazed" the guys kite at the begining, but the guy was cool with it.
it was the car park deviding fence and flag pole that i nearly hit actually i had to use the flag pole as an emergency break!!!

the differance between a hadlow vid and my vids is a budget of grands to a budget of zero!!!!!

no, i wasnt trying to dog ya or nothing, the hadlow video was just the first thing that popped into my head when i saw the dissolving-like effects at the end... I thought they were pretty sweet, and it seems like you have a fair amount of skill when it comes to editing those vids, so i sent you that vid to give you some inspiration for future shots.

Gotta see if the company that shoots for Hadlow will donate some old software to ya... Given a crazy expensive editing program, you could makes something equally as crazy im sure

btw:i like the swagger song better, why wouldnt youtube take it?

lynx69 - 13-7-2009 at 02:24 PM

copyright infringment!!

i think hadlow uses helicopters, ten grand cameras and a full production crew!!

(but all i need is nicotine!!!)

which is a shame as i gave up smoking 2 months ago!!

ps no offence taken mate

Bladerunner - 13-7-2009 at 04:56 PM

Another Ace! Thanks for sharing.

Aha! The sun does shine in the UK.

carltb - 14-7-2009 at 04:08 AM

what gernerally happens is when the sun is shining it tends to be blowing from the east, which is no good for a west coast beach!!!

Dude that was way cool! What program do you use?

carltb - 14-7-2009 at 12:06 PM

all done on movie maker.

play with it enough and you can come up with some cool stuff

mgatc - 14-7-2009 at 03:06 PM

What was the wind speed? That's the biggest air that I have seen you get thus far.

carltb - 15-7-2009 at 04:15 AM

when i first started it was about 24mph but dropped as the session went on. it never went below 15mph. i also had a play around with the internal straps and loosened the centre strap to just over half and the wing tips to 3/4.
i initially had all straps tight for full power and fast turning.
ive actually been higher and for floated longer, but it wasnt on film.
