Was flying today when a car pulled over next to the field. Out came a guy with cameras and gear. He was a newspaper reporter doing a piece on kids
activities before school starts back up.
Cam was flying his 5m Ace doing some jumping. I thought oh no, I hope nothing goes wrong. After about 20 minutes the wind got to gusting so I got out
the meter and it was 16mph, after it died down some and still kicking in pretty good.
So I ask his mom to go and tell him to put it down before we get a different kind of news reported here. All came out well and that guy got some great
shots but all I could think about was here will be the first Pansh making the news with a tragic ending.
Had a professional not been running around taking shots he would have already parked it. I think this was causing him to push it a little too much,
but it was kind of funny because he looked really relieved when he was told to give it a break.
Heck, back in the day when I was a movie star, I had a tendency to go overboard with things also. LOL
Can’t wait to see if it makes the paper.

Glad things turned out so well, but we have one of our own that got hurt with a Pansh, but I don't think it made the paper.

Glad everything worked out well
What movie stuff you do? I've had a couple of buddies in NZ in Peter Jackson movies - my best friend is one of the centaurs in Lion Witch Wardrobe
and I nearly was an extra in LOTR (ogre thing) but I had to work that day
I've always wondered about the increasing number of "Really bloody stupid Guy attempts something really bloody stupid and hurts himself" videos
floating around on YouTube ... have people always been that retarded and it's just that with cheaper technology we're getting to see it more often, or
are people getting increasingly stupid ... or is the presecence of the camera (and viral stardom) causing people to do retarded stuff?
I mean seriously - when you do handstand, spread your legs and let your buddy hit you in the nuts with a Guitar Hero guitar, there's something wrong
there

ive always figured that when a news team gets to me --and they will eventually--i'm going to go cautiously as i dont want to put our sport in a bad
light.

Some cool stuff there guys.
Got back from the beach this am and that was supposed to come out yesterday. I can't find it, not yet anyway but will go back and look some more.
Kamikuza, It was a silly joke, LOL. I wasn't a movie star.
Edit and try to remove something. LOL
