Synergy vs Charger for unhooked?

Which one is better for unhooked?

actually whats the difference between these kites anyway? I hear the charger has less bar pressure. not sure how much less and how they achieved it though.

does auto zenith work well for hooking up a leash for suicide riding?

how difficult is the relaunch on these kites?

unhooked requires depower trim in til the power peak is all the way in. which one is better ???probably about the same. since the charge is said to be quicker may be some advantage

the syn iknow has less bar pressure with the pulleys than older series.

relaunch rare for sure, but a well timed snatch on the main quickly after the kite is down, and it opens up and is up. they tend to clam when they go down. i use the quick approach for my older rigs, water intake can be trouble if you fart around. pilot error is what puts them down, just let go of the bar and the kite is gonna go back up. it's all in the wind striking the kite when its down, with the main in hand, the slightest sign of opening from the clammed positon..you give a tug and pop, direct off the water and u r gone. the newer kites maintain higher pressure longer so they may even "bounce" and pop themselves before you even realize it.

i run a suicide leash, it will work even strung out all the way, you just have to pull it all back in. kite hangs at the top

Here is a great intro . Answers all those questions + more!

I had a go on a Charger at NABX. The VPC3 system is what took me by surprise. I had not flown newer arcs and never flown one with the original VPC. Now that I have been on the Syn I can't wait to compare again. The response to bar input was almost shocking for the 1st few seconds. :

The Arcs seem to look more and more like C kites every year!

man that charger sounds really cool!

the big question for me is:

will I be able to launch it at my super sketch beach that only has 10ft of beach showing at high tide and onshore wind.

logs, barbwire and powerlines are all directly down wind so botching a launch usually means repairing a kite

secured chickenloop launching and landing with an SLE is probably my only other option for high winds
