1.8m Century ??

Hello,
Figured I might as well get this out there.
1.8m Century.
I was surprised to see the rear bridles are terminated to a set of very long leader lines. Aside from the Blurrs (with adjustable AoA), most of my other FBs simply have a short pigtail, terminating the bridals, to connect with. I couldn't see an easier way to attach brake lines without using the leader lines. The best I could figure was to put a bunch of knots along that leader lines to attach flying lines to.
So, It does fly/brake/reverse well. However, if I remember correctly there is about a foot of un-used/dangling leader line (drag). I can't imagine I'd ever need that much slack for brake lines so are we supposed to cut the extra leader away?
I didn't look too hard but is the 1.8m Century not equipped for adjustable AoA? Is there a pdf manual out there?

Also, I have a 0.7m and a 1.4m Buster (both new in bag) coming. If they also arrive without a manual I would like to see a pdf for them as well.
Thanks,
Paul

Perfect.:karate:
thanks Chris.
I contacted PKD site as well with the same question(s). Figured I might as well post here too.
BTW I'm in the process of getting some prices on grooved tires on this side of the pond. I'm not completely leaving you hang'n.

might as well cut/change the leader (at kite end) into a short pigtail and use knots at handle side leader for tuning? less drag in the air. kite flies great :puzzled:.
still curious to know what the reason is for the long leader. will wait a bit to see if PKD lets me know.
Did you get a manual with your 1.8m? maybe I did get a manual and forgot about it.

Take your time. I am in no rush.
If you can find some used ones on your side of the pond you might save a couple bucks. BTW I also have Grooved Duros that are looking for a new home but I think that those would be cheaper to get in the statse than to ship from Europe.
