Shipping

When a product fits in the palm of your hand (will most likely ship in a tear-resistant padded envelope) and costs right around $30-35, the thought of paying $10+ for shipping is slightly painful.

Still beats the total cost from other sources, but.... oh well, it's only money. :sniff:

two words; Priority Mail
starting at $4.80 for pound or less and fast. Even Alaska is 3 days from here in GA

Yes, USPS Flat Rate is a boon in these times.

Alas, it seems like some companies (non-kite) are strictly UPS shops. It was a small nit, the price difference is probably made up in the amount of hand-wringing I saved myself by just saying "Scr*w It" and just pulling the trigger.

Thanks guys for the bump on the US Postal Service's priority flat rate service. My wife and I are both postal workers. We see guys squeezing heavy machine parts into these small flat rate boxes. Contracted airline services for USPS are concerned about how much space the parcels take up rather than weight.:tumble:
