I was reading up on D4rks Thread, and i had the same problem as him, so i put my ground stake in and put the loop on the line onto it and un ravveled
my line and when i did the next one (Thses are Power lines) The second one was about 8cm shorter then the other. but then i got my brake lines and
they were the same length but both 10cm shorter then the shorter power line.
I Have since made both power lines the same length but - the brake lines are still shorter then both of them, is this normal?ragden - 26-8-2009 at 07:44 AM

Having the brake lines shorter in not normal but can be compensated for by a knot farther up each main/ power leader, something useful for trimming
the kite for different winds anyway.

So Every Line E.G The Brake Lines And The Power Lines are all suppose to be same length?

Yes lines should be equal but you will need a means to trim the kite anyway.
Depends on weather the kite is two-line or four-line biased, but often you will want to tighten the brakes a bit as the wind builds.sneasel - 26-8-2009 at 08:31 AM

You can try stretching the brake lines a bit to minimize the difference. Either way, tie an overhand knot in the top leader line far enough up to

Take a look at this. Make and overhand knot just like the one that is already at the very end of the leader. then move the main line attachment up
to that knot.
Shortening the top lines like this effectively lengthens the bottom lines, and vice verse

Put in multiple knots about 2-3 cm apart all the way down your leader lines. That way you can easily adjust your lines in and out as different
conditions warrant. The distance between each knot is not that important, just make sure the knots on the left handle match the right handle exactly
so that both attachment points are the same.
