I imagine it might work on snow but I don't know if it would be worth it. I am trying to kiteboard with one though cause I m po.Bladerunner - 1-9-2009 at 05:31 PM
You should make a skim board or a Plydoor with inner tube foot straps ?
Both can be done on the cheap and if done right will do the job. Macboy and some others have taken a stab at home brew boards.PrairieWind - 1-9-2009 at 08:48 PM
This might be a bit more refined than the kneeboard...
I went for the $25 snowboard off Kijiji if you were looking for snow. I did build a trio of plyboards for water though using litewave straps and
various fins (fins4sale) and with my new found water skills I'll be sure to give them a good run for their money when I get home. (waiting for the
connector at the airport right now) you might be able to build something for snow but I'd try the "wanted: free/cheap snowboard" on Kijiji or here
first. I actually had a snowboard DELIVERED to my door FREE as a result of the wanted ad. Board was too short for me though.
