On an afternoon when the wind didn't blow, but outdoors was uncomfortable, I found myself amidst almost a dozen Buggy Dudes in the camper on the
playa. As suspected the conversation consisted of buggys, buggy types, wind, wind expectations, weather reports, etc. I wedged myself into a corner in
the kitchenette and just listened and lo and behold the conversation suddenly turns interesting!!!!!!
WOMEN became a topic. After a few "sorry Katy" and "no offense maam" 's directed at me I became a true, blue, butter-fly on the wall and witnessed
guys talking about girls the way girls talk about guys!!
I can't give away any secrets, but I will tell you that one Buggy Dude that proclaimed to know nothing about women's fashion walked away from the Mall
with a swanky handbag from Coach for his wife. Another oldtime fav Buggy Mastro has VERY sensitive triceps. And yet another one love, love, loves to
wear beaded jewelry!
And so my assessment of the Buggy Dude is while he presents a leathery, tanned and tough outside with a layer of salt and dust, on the inside he's
soft, chewy and a little sweet. 
So...for all the women/ladies/girls out there that have never been interested in attending one of these festivals, maybe you haven't been asked or you
refused to go, maybe you don't buggy, whatever...I would suggest putting this on your calendar for next year. Dean even promised to have girl's
teeshirts after witnessing my disappointment with having to wear an unflattering guy's teeshirt instead.
Later I'll be posting some of my favorite pictures from the playa. For all of you guys that like shorts and pants that are WAY too big for
you...beware. You may have been caught on film showing the ever popular Buggy Crack!:singing:

I still maintain that I know nothing....she needs to warm up to my fashion sensability I guess.

I still claim to be clueless when it comes to women, but I loved all of the stuff I got for myself...:karate:

Boy, I'm glad I wasn't in on that powwow or it might have been revealed I actually wear white underwear and not camo as everyone expects. But then you
probably already knew that from the buggy crack pics.
I truly enjoyed yours and Chris' company Katy. Looking forward to doing it all over again Cinco de Mayo weekend.

thanks from us also! What a great event this year. Made the memories of last years rainout just wash away. I actually had thoughts that this
would be our last trip to the playa, but already we are talking about returning next year. Hopefully we can have another large texas presence once
again. Looking forward to seeing all down at SLP for Cinqo de Mayo in a few weeks!
