2006 12m RAGE 2 kite - opinion

thomo5949 - 10-9-2009 at 07:06 AM

Hi guys, I have the chance of buying a2006 12m RAGE 2 kite with the SAFE bar system. What do you guys think..... any good?

A Flexifoil Rage?

Current model range tops out at 6M.

I wasn't aware that they ever made a Rage that large.

I would expect the potential for a 12M FB kite spanking you is pretty high.

Sam

I reckon that's a rage that comes with a pump.

:dunno:

It cant be a flexfoil foil rage, they never made em that big. wish they did though, for those days when the wind barely moves.

Thomo5949, Are you talking about this Rage II?

*Edit* for whatever reason, the link to the Rage II is defaulting to the Rampage II. to get to the Rage II, go to Kiteboarding --> Inflatable --> Past Glory

Tried to follow your original link, but got distracted by the blonde on the home page.

Second link works better. Didn't realize there was an water-based Rage. Thanks for the link and clearing up the confusion

Sam

Hi, Sorry about the confusion. It is a Rage II and is the one shown on the link above.

A friend of mine and a 12m and 17m. Both are in great condition (used about 5 times each). He is selling them for £100 each (thats about $75)

I'm only just getting into power kites and they are WAY above my level but I though it might be a good idea to buy them for future use once I have had my lessons and can move up.

£100 is more like $175.

is that RTF? (bar and lines)

It may be a pain to track down a good line/bar set... i'm not sure tho. At any rate they usually run anywhere from 200-300 bucks... its hard to turn down a 12m kite for 175 tho if everything is good...
