The GI boards come with a small spanner wrench, but I would like to replace it with a ratcheting flex wrench of the correct size. I could just trial
and error it, but if someone knows off the top of their head, all the better. The GI documentation lists the Allen wrench sizes, but not the socket
size for the axle nut.

Will check to confirm tonight. If it turns out, I don't have that wrench readily available (although I really want a flex wrench... unless you are
careful the spanner can score the sideplates on the bearings), I know what is going to happen. I am going to schlep the board into the local Lowes.
In all honestly, I can't seeing it making them any more nervous that crawling into the trunk of a car at a dealership to check trunk size. :tumble:

Think Brian might be right about it being metric. The closest SAE size has too much play. The current Cinderella hopeful is 16mm.
Looks like me and the board are going to Lowes in the near future. Yes, the normal and the sane would remove the bolt and take just that, but I also
want a wrench to hold the hanger nut, which theoretically is held trapped by the indent in the hangers. That's only a theory though and doesn't play
out well in the real world. So might as well take the whole kit and kaboodle to figure out if I am getting standard length or stubbies for that one.

Its definately metric as I break my board down 2-3 times a year for cleaning but I can't remember what nut is which. I believe between the bindings,
cubes, wheels, etc. I use a 7, 9 (maybe 11mm but I think 9 as I always think of the gun when pulling the socket) and if it wasn't an 11mm for the

I just measured mine up. 5/8s rachet for the hub nuts. 10mm for the heart bolt (as mentioned above) and 10mm for the binding bracket mount. Hangers
require a wrench as they are too tight to fit a rachet around, B
