Right
anyone know of a cheap way to send something as big as a 157 to Japan?
USPS will not ship that big and UPS/fedex charge 300+ bucks.

You aren't going to do well on this. I just shipped my Synergy to Furbowski in Hong Kong and USPS was half Fedex and UPS. DHL or another carrier
might work out better. Something big like that is going to cost ya.

A snowboard lists as shipping via Sports Express from US to Japan at $198. Still an acid burn, but down 33%.... sort of the difference between being
thrashed with a pine 2x4, rather than oak. Will keep looking.
Quite honestly the cheapest way I can think of is (possibly) sneaking by as someone's baggage allowance, but that would require a whole lot of astral
alignment.

no worries mate. I tried! I even thought of asking my wife military connections in Japan as there is super cheap postage with the military....

Hmm... what was the price of shipping to APO/FPO? I got several buddies in the military here...

I have no idea what the price is but I'll ask this week. Her mum used to send huge boxes to tokyo all the time when she lived out there so it is
do-able.
