All the water you'll see? Knee to chest deep. I swear! All of it.

Congrats, macboy! Keep it up!!

I took my first kiteboarding lesson on the water at Corpus Christi TX about a month or two ago. By the end of the lesson, I was only able to get up on the water for a few seconds at a time before crashing - and that was on my good side! I haven't been back on the water since, so I hope I haven't forgotten what I learned. Winds are picking up inland lately, so I'm going to try to hone my basics on land before heading out on the water again. It may hurt more when I fall, but I don't have to worry about sinking or inhaling salt water :)

Knee to waist deep water is the perfect place to learn... That way you dont have to worry about drowning while trying to get the kite back into the air.
