Hey guys,
New to the forums here and sort of new to Kiting. I work in the model aircraft industry and have flown r/c stuff for many years. I have a natural
love of anything aviation related. I've tried a few two line stunt kites in the past, but quickly got bored with them and went back to r/c stuff.
While in Myrtle Beach on vacation this summer I went to Kligs Kites and bought a 2 line P3 Stylus 2.5M and got moved around the beach some. It was
pretty fun. I recently traded an r/c heli for a 4M Beamer III and it's opened up a whole new world for me. I love flying 4 line! It has so much
power and I love having the brakes for more control. I would love to get a buggy to start getting the hang of that. It doesn't have to be in the
best of shape and I don't have a lot of money to buy a new one.
So... anyone out there have a buggy they can sell and ship to TN on the cheap?
Thanks,
Jason Cole

Here is a Peter Lynn Comp XR+ with wide wheels for sale. Take a look. It is from a well respected member here on the forum.

you should get that buggy--its a great deal for the price

Thanks for the welcome guys. That buggy seems nice, but it's more than I can spend. I was hoping to find a well used one for around $150 or maybe
trade some cash and r/c gear for one. I'll keep an eye out on the for sale section and see if anything pops up.
I live in Nashville, TN. It's not the best place for kiting, but there are some nice fields close by that I have been using.
Thanks,
Jason

all I can say is make one...learn how to weld and make one...it will be the most fun you have ever had.....seriously. When you do it yourself you get
so much more out of it. Think about it...you build it, fly it modify it and if you do it right you can build a perfectly great buggy for under 250
bucks and as you are wizzing along you think to yourself...
"self did I remember to weld that one spot?".....its a great feeling when you flip the buggy and even though it was painful and sketchy you know that
everything is ok and you can jump back in....even if you don't learn to weld you can get all the parts together and take it to a welder and they will
have fun welding it to your design...for a price of course but still it is your design....... 2 cents

check this guy out... make an offer like he says. he isn't too far from you so shipping shouldn't be much...

Here is a field I've flown in while in Nashville. It has some soccer fields that have been added since the aerial photo was taken. It would be best
with a SW to an Easterly wind given the trees and hills around it. Good luck with the buggy.

That's Edwin Warner Park. That's where we fly r/c planes. They tore down those control line circles and put in new soccer fields and a new runway.
It's a great place to fly planes and kites. The soccer field is pretty big and would be a great place I think to practice with the buggy. Hopefully
I can get one soon before it gets crazy cold. It's blowing 10-15 today and tomorrow, so I'm going out during lunch to play a little bit and try to
parapack the kite when finished.
Thanks,
Jason
