Can any of you computer savy kiters tell me how to reduce the quality of a picture so I can use it as an avatar? Many thanks furbowski - 7-10-2009 at 06:52 AM
search google for online image reduction, then pick a good one and look through the options carefully after you get to the upload screen. some
resizers allow you to resize to an exact pixel size. bumping up the sharpness / contrast of the resized image also helps.acampbell - 7-10-2009 at 06:55 AM
You can download a copy of Picassa for free from Google.
Use it to do basic color and contrast correction as well as cropping.
Then use the "Export" button to export the photo in the size you want.
Picassa use useful to have anyway and the price is right.Todd - 7-10-2009 at 07:16 AM
