Hey, I'm new to power kiting and after trying it out a few times with the local group. I am looking for my own kite. I'm primarily going to be
snowkiting with some landkiting. Looking for whatever will get me up in the air with some good hangtime. I was recommended to get a 9 meter-ish kite
to start. Budget has to stay below about $550. It'd be really nice to have a control bar with lines included! Thanks!!!f0rgiv3n - 13-10-2009 at 07:49 AM
For that you could probably find a 13m-ish Peter Lynn arc (like a venom, or something) Where you located?flyjump - 13-10-2009 at 07:54 AM

What are your average winds like? Weight? It sounds like you have a group to fly with/learn from, which will help out greatly!Todd - 13-10-2009 at 11:34 AM

That's about what I paid for mine kite only.

I'm about 165 lbs (who knows how much will all the ski gear), and 6 ft 1 inch. Yeah, I've got a collage club I just got into it with and I know pretty
much nothing. I'll look into those kites, though I may have just found one. I'll post back if the sale falls through. Thanks for all the offers.redtailin - 13-10-2009 at 07:42 PM
