I've never used this model of MBS before, how does it compare to others? I'm buying one this week, is there anything tips or suggestions that I should
know? Is it fast heavy light ??? I lik to jump and do mostly freestyle tricks but my last board is finally dead. Am I gonna have fun with ths board? I
use Peter Lynn scorpion kites, so speed and lift are my tools to use with this board.
Any tips or suggestions?

i use to have that board. its not bad its a wood deck ... so its got some pop/flex. one thing i didnt like was the foot straps.
what did you use before? when you say dead, are the trucks and wheels still usable? if all you need replaced is a deck, i'd spend the money on a
trampa. CARBON. saving weight :D
if you like big air and freestyle tricks i would go with either Comp 95 /Comp 90/ Pro 90 (Revpaul has one for sale) if you have butter flat surface
to use skate trucks.
I say this because light is better and I too start to feel 15lbs under you feet all day starts to feel like 40lbs after a few hours. I use a Comp 95
because of the bumpy terrain, or i would slim down to skate trucks.

i have alot time on this model . for my size it perfect . @200lbs./6FT. plenty of board. compared to the board i had before the CORE 16 is
feather light . but that's relative to user.
nice start, plenty of range, keep it dry, lube everything .
for its cost and vintage . its "OK" but if you want to really progress lighter is what you want. esp if your a smaller rider.
