flexifoil kite parts

Jason-G - 26-10-2009 at 09:05 AM

Does anyone know a US source or any good source to get flexifoil kite parts. I am looking for a bigger chicken loop for a Sabre 2 kite bar and some other Sabre 2 spare parts.

I'd like a grab handle for a 2009 Flexifoil Delta 139x41.5

You could try calling Dino at dakitez. I know he carries Flexifoil.

If not Dino, try Cobra Kites. They used to be the importer for Flexi, IIRC.

East of the Muddy Waters....

Angus as www.CoastalWindSports.com can also get you sorted out. If he doesn't have it in stock, FedEx will get it to this side of the pond in 4-5 days.

Jim at Fun With Wind in MA also stocks and can special order FF gear too.

Sam

Dino has gotten me parts before for my Blade III, was a huge help.

I went through Angus at Coastal Wind Sports for replacement parts for a used mk1 Sabre. Super helpful and highly recommended!!

Thanks Sam, but FF no longer ships FedEx for routine orders unless it is a large re-stock order. Good news is that FF will be stocking inventory in US with existing water kite Distributor Peter Trow in California. His container-load of land traction gear arrives in about a week.

Direct Sabre parts are not available any more but the parts for the modern water de-power kites are largely interchangeable and available to dealers in about a week.

Existing Peter Lynn de-power parts in stock are also the functional equivalents. Their replacement chicken loop and center power line ties to the power adjuster straps with a bowline just like the FF part does.

Still have a real beef with Flexi and their lack of support in North America.. personally will never purchases Flexi again.

Yeah they have buggared up a few things in the last couple of years but they have re-organized and come out leaner and more responsive. Used to be that I could never escalate a call past my front line contacts in sales, but now the owner Anthony Van Dort will often answer the phone himself and will always take a personal interest in any issue I bring up for a customer.

still never got a response on the Sabre 1 other than send it to Belgium at 1/2 the cost of the kite to fix a problem they handed out at events free of charge in the UK. Now the bridle is wrecked so it just sits there and looks good.lol. Really did like the kite, but Flexi will never make a buck off me again.
