pull the release!

Flying G Zeus - 12-11-2009 at 03:26 PM

Are they kiting in offshore wind? If so, what's creating all that wind? I thought thermal wind is onshore.

Amazing place to ride. PHREERIDER, I'll see you there.

PHREERIDER - 12-11-2009 at 04:01 PM

looks like they have some shallow bays spot. looks side shore to the right ? i would launched from a decent downwind spot that you could zoom back to easy if needed.

right on!

Tommarrow is the big day! They are expecting 50-60mph winds!............aj

New kite speed record!

Flying G Zeus - 23-11-2009 at 07:59 PM

It's not over just yet, but already a new kitespeed record has been recorded at 50.98knots. A second kiter at 50.95- that's gotta be tough to take.

Knolee - 23-11-2009 at 08:07 PM

Holy Cr*p batman!

Those are some Nukin winds! Those look like no more than popsicle sticks their riding on.

Hooj Balls for sure! Can't say I've ever experienced winds like that. But what can you expect when I live in the Midwest.

Rob.
