it is posible to transport a big foot buggy PL , in a normal size trunk car ? like BMW 5 series ?
i saw the pictures and looks like a regular PL with a biggers wheels...

The PL buggies break down pretty easily. I don't think there are even bolts holding the axle on. You could pull the wheels off the back, pluck the
rear axle off, and then undo 2 bolts that hold the side rails onto the downtube and make a pretty small package.

It is a regular PL buggy but with with longer side rails, wider axle and bigger fork... so I guess it is different. But the foot pegs and back axle
still pop off in 30 seconds with no tools. You would likely have to take the back wheels off the axle. Maybe 2 min. with a wrench. Not sure about
the front wheel. Add another 2 min. for that if needed.

The frame will fit in just about any trunk out there, shouldn't be a problem at all. The issue will be the tires. The big foot tires
are...um....big! You may find that you can only get one or two tires into your trunk (not sure how big a BMW trunk is) and one or two of the tires
may need to go in the back seat area. But it should fit.
Your other option is to get one of your (truck driving) buddies into the sport. That way they can haul your buggy for ya.

When I had an Accord coupe, I'd pull the tires off my buggy and hang the buggy upside down on a removable bikerack (Saris Bones) on my trunk. Just be
sure to pad whatever metal may touch your vehicle's paint. This will leave more room inside your vehicle, too

i Guess i should get the big foot , i am trying to ride this buggy in Indiana Dunes , 2 miles of soft sand .
i was thinking in a PL Folding buggy too but i think wont work very good in solf sand like dunes etc

I made this trailer last year and so far cassette loading is the way to go. The trailer will also hold 3 bigfoot buggies.
