I'm looking for a 11-13m foil for a member in the club. Looking to use for snowkiting, and some landboarding. Water isnt a big interest yet, but
he's open to the idea.
Let me know what you guys have, budget is $400 max, and Ill pass on the posts to him.
If your not after a depower, I have a nearly new Ace 12 mtr I'd let go for $175.furbowski - 11-11-2009 at 07:40 AM
I just got one, it's a beast! turning speed is slow, nearly impossible to redirect well (with my current skills anyways) but yes if you can get it up
in the air it will pull like a truck. the raptor in the hooj balls video looks similar in terms of turning speed...
blade would be better, also have the option of depower.flyboy15 - 11-11-2009 at 08:39 AM
Thanks for the offers guys, but im lookin for a system with stock depower for him. Something like HQ, Ozone, Flysurfer, PL, etc. Keep the ideas
coming tho, I'm starting to consider some of these myself! hahaMaven454 - 11-11-2009 at 08:50 AM
Too bad that the guy with all the Vortex arcs is asking so much for them. I realize they're basically new, but they'd be good for your friend
otherwise.snobdr - 11-11-2009 at 09:01 AM
That will be a tuff find. Depower kites in that size range for that price go fast unless they are old.Ataud.Verde - 11-11-2009 at 09:27 AM
Even when old they go fast...
@Maven454: check the prices of new PL kites :singing:
((assuming you find them)Maven454 - 11-11-2009 at 09:42 AM

Not claiming that your prices are unfair. Just that they're higher than what his friend can afford.jaydee - 11-11-2009 at 09:50 AM
I have a Flysurfer Speed 10m that I will probably be selling. It is used, but is still in good condition. The depower line may need a replacement, but
other than that, everything seems fine to me. I bought it used last summer, and used it for one winter of snowkiting, where it was amazing. I picked
up a 13m Psycho III this spring, so have no need for this kite this winter.kiteNH - 14-11-2009 at 07:59 AM
NH that is exactly what I was hoping for haha. Another ranger deal, god that kite alone has made getting your own gear possible for 5 of our membersrocfighter - 3-12-2009 at 06:41 PM
JayDee what are you asking for the 10m speed? I may be interested.
Thanks Dave.rocfighter - 3-12-2009 at 06:42 PM
I forgot to ask, Is that just the kite or the whole set-up?flyboy15 - 3-12-2009 at 06:43 PM
EDIT: wups thought you were talking to me roc
But in general haha....
Whole setup
We have a ton of guys and girls in the club right now looking for kites in this range so let the offers fly!!jaydee - 3-12-2009 at 09:18 PM
I'd be looking for about $325 plus shipping from Alberta, Canada. The price is RTF, minus the DD on the chicken loop. Was flying last winter, and part
of the plastic snapped in the cold. About one or two inches remain, so another piece of plastic could easily be fit into the remaining piece and glued
in place.
