12m Sprint!?

macboy - 14-11-2009 at 08:43 PM

Bored (as per usual while I'm quarantined from the kites). Popped into the Pansh site - hadn't been there in a while and what did I see? They made a 12m Sprint!?

Oy vey.

This is the first I have heard someone bring up pansh in as long time. Ever since the pansh forum shut down it seems things are quite in the pansh camp. I wonder if their rep is finally catching up with them ??

Yeah, I hadn't heard anything about them in ages either (well, some Ace and Legend talk here and there on PKF but nothing really otherwise). Crap, I wonder if I just opened up a Pandora's box to newer PKF members?

So, what pansh is done now? Do they still make kites? I didn't realize the pansh forum was shut down

The forum shut down, or the company? And why?

WELDNGOD - 15-11-2009 at 06:15 AM

forum shut down. Pansh kite still makes and sells kites. And yes that 12m is a beast.

The forum was not operated by pansh. It was operated by some great blokes who enjoyed the kites and wanted a place where people could speak openly about the kites and not get bashed like they would on most other forums. Unfortunately for them they were trying to help a company that did not want to be helped. I am guilty of that also.

As far as I know Pansh did not force the forum to close, but they basically forced the hand. Pansh cut off all communication with the forum crew and I even think they shut out there "team riders" (not 100% positive on the team riders). Basically Pansh crawled under a rock and hid. so the forum and myself said adios.

My guess is Pansh sales must really be down or else we would have all the new posts of my kite doesn't fly correctly ... how do I fix it

hey, Daz-Skirts

are you out with Pan$h now?

Pansh is a dying brand, they will not last long it was just a matter of time. Without a design crew or team riders (i thought they were racing on Pro Curcuit?), they will only appeal to the newbie looking for a deal. Out of all their kites, I think Sprint was the best created. I actually bought one of the LTD Neon Green kites. hehehe.

I see they offer some weird marketing ideas. Free Kite, Membership Discounts.

I think I need to change my name to Da-skirtz till I can overcome my lack of speed handicap.

I have been done with Pansh for awhile. I don't remember exactly, but its been roughly 6-8 months. Life is much easier since that time. My emails and phone calls have decreased dramatically since then. No help needed to get my kite to fly right calls!
