Auction has been removed already...I guess the FBI is too busy with terrorists and such to give priority to his no-name kite buggys and gear....I can't believe we all have to share the same oxygen with that dweeb....

burritobandit - 18-11-2009 at 10:39 AM

Yeah, it's fine.

indigo_wolf - 18-11-2009 at 10:41 AM

PKF was fine last I heard.

Search the forum for "jonesband" going back a few months OR

Search the forum for "ebay listing" going back a few months OR

Of a similar vein (I had to call to make sure they were still open) there was a news story today about my eye surgeon's partner's plot to have him offed by the russian mafia!:puzzled:

CBC News

That one's for real....jonesband's claims....not so real.

kitemaker4 - 18-11-2009 at 04:48 PM

This Jonesband guy is posting misinformation on e-bay about kites and buggys. People are coming to the forum like they always have and are asking advice about his products. He is not happy with what the forum members are saying.

That link is hilarious. I'm sure that step 1 of every FBI investigation is to post on eznet.biz

This kind of reminds me of a very small kite related item I bought off ebay many years ago for 10.00. A friend had bought the exact same item the week before for 30.00. I think because it was only 10.00 and me being from Canada and the seller in the US I got into that little cat and mouse game:
- sorry for delay in shipping I've been away
- it's been shipped
- it was returned undeliverable
- give me another address customs must be holding it
- finally no replies.

I ended up copying the image that I had bought and upsized the file to the max size allowable for his account and emailed it to him with a large message "send my purchased item or my money back" about 50 times a day for several days. Then went to all of his other ebay sales that he had and under another account I put 500.00 bids on at least 50 of his sale items that were going for 20-30.00
I got the item in the mail a week later.
You may find creative ways to deal with problems ....

I keep stumbling across postings from him and anytime I do I file an eBay complaint against him. I can't believe eBay hasn't shut him down yet......goes to show eBay is run by robts and "Mr. eBay" is too busy swimming in his pool of gold coins ala Scrooge McDuck
