Dirtsurfers?

Has anyone ever tried one of these, I was wondering if they would work going across fields, pastures ect. Or would they not take that kind of abuse?:wee:

They seem to take some good abuse

Does anyone know anything about dirtsurfers, I understand you have to lean over on these to turn or steer so how does this work when you lean over on these to carve when riding with your kite?

Uh? You lean to turn, they carve ... the front wheel is on a kind of wishbone that give the offset needed to describe an arc. Have a look at the website, look at the actual riding downhill vids ...
Here's a site dedicated to them and 'wings too - http://www.wingsurfer.co.uk/

Hey Brian,

I should be getting one in a few days...hopefully be riding it the Sat/Sun after Thanksgiving. I got it for hard dirt but also for think grass. Might even try it on some of the mountain bike trails we have around here. I'll let you know how it goes.

fun to ride on their own... i didnt like it paired with a kite, though... seems especially impossible in gusty conditions...

take that for what its worth, it was my first board, and i sold it as soon as i could in favor of a standard mountain board

good luck in your journey
