I think I will celebrate Thanksgiving the traditional way, invite over all of my neighbors for a giant meal. Then I will kill them all and steal their
land...

I'm thankful for...Wind!
Though we never get enough of it, without it this site would be about stand up paddleboarding or something else equally lame

Is TODAY Thanksgiving for y'all or is it tomorrow? (Never understood why US/Can was different.) I thought Black Friday was Thanksgiving for you guys.

Today is Thanksgiving. Tomorrow is Black Friday, and kicks off the Christmas shopping season with some of the best deals of the year.InvertedForce - 26-11-2009 at 11:22 AM
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Here is what I woke up to, this morning. I am thankful for kites
Winds this morning were 14-16mph, so I got to try an ARC for the first time (Bomba). Winds are supposed to be 15-20 later, and rain will blow off,
turn to some sunshine. Maybe session number 2?
BTW, we're taking video, I might post later.

To each his own but gotta say...I'm finding out that I truly love SUPing...I thought it was lame at first (hardcore short board surfer here), but I'm
finding it's a nice compliment to kitesurfing when there's no wind and the waves aren't big enough for a shortboard...opens up a complete new world
(breaks that I didn't look at before are open game now and you don't have to fight for every wave...And did you see what they're doing on rapids
now???....pretty cool stuff if you ask me.
If you've tried it before on waves or rivers, just ignore my comments, but if not, give it a shot...you might be surprised like I was.
..and Jolt...sorry about the work...couple of my fellow I.T.'s are working over the weekend (move to Boulder)...sucks!krumly - 26-11-2009 at 07:18 PM
lunchbox -
Just being a smarta$$ about paddleboarding - I'll add a
A few folks do it on the lakes around here for flatwater exercise. I figure I'd rather use my sea kayak or a surfski and get somewhere.
I sea kayak, sail, and ski too, but I think doing it all with a kite is better!
