Torn between KGB and Skating

I've been kiting for a bit now and have enjoyed jumping and scudding a lot but it's time for something new. I'm really torn between groundboarding and skating and any advice from anyone who has done, or does both would be much appreciated. I snowboard and rollerblade but in all honesty the doomskates look a lot more intimidating than a mountainboard does hehe. The terrain in my area would mostly be soccer fieldish and possibly low grass fields. Thanks for any comments or advice!

Both sports are unique and have their own merits. Comparing the two, landboarding is more like kitesurfing or snowboarding. Riders tend to use "lifty" kites than allow them to do spins and jumps at slower speeds. The same can be done with kiteskates, but what I find most enjoyable is speed and long distance. Kiteskating is very stable (using well made skates) and crossing the vast desert dry lakes at 40 to 60+ mph is a smooth and thrilling ride. I do both, but kiteskating is my preference.
