Greetings! My name is Andrea, and I am doing a gigantic research project on anything and everything kite related. Right now, I'm looking into extreme
kiting, such as Kite Buggying. If you will, post anything here you think I should know...why you like the sport? how to get started? your favorite
gear? how you got interested in it? tricks you can do? Anything and everything will certainly be of help! I'd love to hear from a real live
enthusiast! Happy Kiting :singing:Big Earl - 30-11-2009 at 04:04 PM
I got into kiting through youtube. I saw a video of Ruben Lenten kitesurfing and was completely hooked. I got on e bay and found a crappy 7 meter kite
and with no idea what I was doing went to my local park and promptly destroyed my shoulder. After that mostly healed I decided to take some
kitesurfing lessons. Once I was able to get up on a board it was the most fun I have had doing anything ever! But I live in Arizona so there are not
many chances to get out on the water. Next I took up static flying, then on to buggying, then building my own buggies. Now I have 3 buggies and 20+
kites. Help, I can't stop!heliboy50 - 1-12-2009 at 05:20 AM

Sorry, there is no cure. BTW, stickers en route BE. Little hijack aside, I flew framed power stunt kites for years as a teenager and later. Got out
of it for quite a while until a buddy got into smaller foils and some high performance stunt kites. I got my first couple of quad line foils, got
taste of what they could do and never looked back. Like Big Earl, I also built my own buggy. I really enjoy the way that kiting seems to bring
solitude even when there are people around. It's just me and the wind. If ever there was a place to learn about all things kiting, this is it.
Welcome. Oh fav brands- Ozone, JoJo, and PKD.
