Nasa wings need brake input all the time. There might not be enough wind also. It would help if you gave me more info. As long as the lines you are
flying the kite on are equal in lenght then that is not the problem.

3.5 m NPW5

You need the wind to be at least 10 mph or more for the kite to do will. The next time you take it out let me know how it does.

Hey manotw, I've found if I hold my handles more toward the center of the handle (no finger over the top line), I get just the right brake input.
Experiment on where to hold the handles til you get just the right spot...

o right very interesting thank you everso much for that ill try that out i was thinking wile im testing it i might just fly it off the bridal do u
think this could be a good idea ?
kitemaker4 - 23-12-2009 at 10:24 AM
Nasa wings do need more brake input. Do NOT hold the hadles towards the top like you would fly a foil. The nw will not fly well are at all if you
hold the handles too high. Move your hands down towards the center like Bob said and see what happens.
You can fly nasa wings with lines any lenght or no lines at all off the bridle.

As soon as I see my ose start to pucker I add more brake ! Sounds like you just needed more wind and more brake.

hi guys i think ive found the problem with my NPW5 when i fly off the bridal its fine but when i fly of my Beamer III 3.0m lines it stuggles to fly
and i found out that the brake lines are about 3 inch's shorter than the main lines.
kitemaker4 - 29-12-2009 at 12:27 PM
Have you flown it yet since you found out the brake lines are shorter.
