When you see people kitesurfing, they only use boards, never skis. Flotation? On snow people use both and same on land (landboards + rollerblades).

Corey and his KiteSki started this whole thing in north america. He started on skis but moved to a board. I think float and edging are an issue ? I'm only sorry people didn't push for better skis .

OK, way to kook out, but really, somebody get that guy a surf board, quickly.

The sport's pioneers did push the design of water skis, the results: buy a kite / surf board. Just ask Flash Austin and Corey Roessler.

I know Corey blew them all away on skis at the Gorge but I never heard of ( My Hero ) Flash using them? I thought he started out on a Flexifoil and a skim board in Florida?

Bladerunner, you know what, you're right. I thought I remembered it from the "UPWIND" video, but, nothing about skis.

Here's the video.

Kinda what I was thinking...I love the fact that people get inventive and want to try new things but some of the things I see...I just ask myself Why???

Sad to say, but some things I think will just flop and this is one of them...one year in R&D for that....Wow
