i need a go-pro camera asap.Kamikuza - 29-12-2009 at 02:40 AM
I hate you Americans and your huge backyards - my biker net-buddies rub my nose in it by riding dirt bikes around their yards.
Here, I can almost roll out my Vortex 10m in the garden and walk around the edges of the kite ... and we've got the largest yard in the
neighborhood :ticking:
Seriously though - awesome! I'd so love to be an American ... although if I was born in the US I would have busted my ass to join the Marines and fly
A-10s or Huey Cobras then be an astronaut and probably would have missed out on kites :Dlynx69 - 29-12-2009 at 06:08 AM
What kind of kite and board? Have you tried GPS to see how fast you were going? Thanks for sharing the addiction.B-Roc - 29-12-2009 at 07:40 AM
That is a nice yard for kiting. 'Course it would be better if you cut down that one lone tree in the middle of your riding area Houston AirHead - 29-12-2009 at 12:57 PM
i have a gps program on my smartphone that basically logs and uploads tons of data relating to speed, location anything else you could think of. ive
hit 40 mph before at the coast, maybe around 25-30mph on my land. that tree does get annoying somtimes.
my board is a mbs core95, newest model.
I plan on getting better footage as soon as possible, im happy every one likes it.lunchbox - 30-12-2009 at 09:04 AM
Man....I'm jealous...to be able to kiteboard in your own backyard...my nirvana for sure....so gotta ask...how many acres you got and how often does it
blow?WELDNGOD - 30-12-2009 at 02:26 PM

haha @ weldngod, yep yep, i skateboarded for 8 years before kiting so it would be a bad idea to start building ramps, because if you build one, then
one turns to two turns to three, and then madness. haha
to answer box's question, my patch of land is about 3 acres but theres an empty lot to the right of about 20 acres which about only half is rideable
due to torn up land from hay bailers.ragden - 31-12-2009 at 05:09 AM
