Anyone know the wind range for a 12 meter waroo for someone weighing about 170 lbs?

Hi

I had an 06 12 meter and rode in the water from 15 to 30 mph. 15 I was just riding and at 30 I was out of depower and nerve, but was able to self land with the safety.
I weigh 165 and was riding an Ocean Rodeo Zen 135 by 43.
On the snow I could ride starting at 12 mph on hardpack.

What is the lift like on the waroo? Compared to a nemesis?

Hi

The only Nemisis I could compare to is the newer one(08,09) that is an SLE. I have never used the C-kite Nemisis.
The Waroo has less lift than the newer Nemisis. I don't have a lot to compare to but I was told the SLE Nemisis was one of the higher jumping kites (08, 09).
The C-kite Nemisis should be liftier if used in the higher end of it's wind range I would guess.
My Waroo jumped pretty good 10 -15 feet pretty easy in about 22-25 mph wind.
I'm probably considered an intermidiate rider (4 years) definetly no pro.
I no longer have my Waroos, just moved on, but they were good kites. Probably one of the safest I have used and as well built as most. A little harder than some to relaunch in light wind but no problem 4 or 5 mph above the lower end of their wind range. For their price definetly worth trying they won't hold you back until you are doing unhooked kite loops.

Was that a 12m that you were getting 10-15 feet on? Water or land? How much do you weigh?

Hey

Yeah it was an 06 12 meter. I was on water in between 22-25mph. I weigh around 165.
10 -15 is a guess people watching said I was around twice my height, sometimes a little higher.
I'm sure someone with more experience could go higher. Once the wind range was right the Waroo was easy to jump.
