indigo_wolf - 13-1-2010 at 03:02 PM

I would vote for a U2U request to "PKF" (click the "send U2U" link on the first row of the profile).

awww c'mon we don't bite

indigo_wolf - 13-1-2010 at 03:55 PM

Well... sometimes, but I think it was mostly a misunderstanding involving cream cheese and salsa. Some rum might have been involved too.

deleting an account does not make sense because associated POSTs dont belong to someone anymore.

may be what you want is to change your nickname. PKF did it in the past for me once. I used to be Buzz. As long as you dont abuse I guess.

Or block it, like someone got banned recently ;-)

On other forums, or websites where I dont want to keep my account, and no feature to delete is offered, I then change my associated email/password/all info which points to me, and then I just forget it.

mmmmmmm, cream cheese!:D

FloRider - 13-1-2010 at 04:11 PM

I think PKF has a motto similar to Google, "don't be evil."

you're safe

Cream cheese for ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

In alasdair's case, I think the Cream Cheese would come with a side of Haggis!

lives2fly - 14-1-2010 at 05:03 AM

Hi Alasdair

My kitesurf spots are Gress, Luskentyre, Barvas Loch, Scarista and Ardroil,

On the landboard I ride at Gress, Ardroil, Horgabost, Husinis.

Ardroil would be amazing if the sand conditions weren't so variable. Half the time its too soft for a land board. Its so big you can ride any wind direction though which is great. Will be better in the summer.

Had a few tries at Cliff, reef, tolsta, luskentyre, shielibost, niesibost, the braigh, but not enough to really guage the possibilities and when conditions are right.

You ever been up to Eoropie? There's almost nowhere to go in a Northerly/southerly in lewis - if Ardroil or Cliff are too soft. I used to go surfing up there but I cant remember the aspect or if the sand was firm or not! probs should check it out.

Also, what about that beach on the back of Bernaray? I'm told its firm at low tide but I dont know if I'm convinced enough to get the ferry over!! still 4 miles of white sand!!

I didn't even know there was sand at Shawbost!! thanks for the heads up. Probably explains why I havn't bumped into you either!

Well, my rides are in the sig so say hi sometime if you recognise a kite!!

alasdair macleod - 15-1-2010 at 01:06 PM

hi lives2fly if i see any of those kites on beachs i'll say hi! i've got a 2m flow, 4.5 cult ozone ad peter lynn xr buggy so if you :bouncy:see them come over and say hi.:singing:

East Coast Scotland

AD72 - 15-1-2010 at 04:53 PM

What about the East Coast? I am often in Aberdeen for work. I have seen guys kitesurfing at Balmedie beach but never buggies. I happened upon a forum for Synergy Kitesports in Fraserburgh but there are infrequent posts there.

alasdair macleod - 16-1-2010 at 06:47 AM

don't no anything about the east coast but someone will so just wait awhile they'll post soon on here or look on www.spka.co.uk hope that helps you.

To cancel one's membership simply stop logging in.

rocfighter - 29-5-2013 at 07:07 AM

I think you should stay. YOu have a lot if information about the area and could be a good resource to some one starting out. Just check in once a month and see if any one is looking for information. Or "just go away or we will taunt you another time" (With a ridiculous French accent!)
