On a whim, we drove down (across?) to Hamamatsu on Saturday night after work, checked in to our favourite love hotel and started unwinding for a long
weekend ... beer and a long soak in the hot tub :D
Sunday, I spent the afternoon in the carpark at the Flower Park with the Kitewing and skates. Remembered to take my GoPro with me so once I prune
them, I'll have some really boring vids for you 
The wind was the gustiest I've
ever been out in and the 'wing was hard to control. Thought I made some high speed runs - the skates were speed wobbling like crazy - but on the vid
it only looks like walking speed
Was also going to have a crack at the PowerBlast but was just too gusty ... nothing at all to like, hyper-mental. At one point, the wind where I was
riding was coming from the south but about 200m down the park was a kid flying a single line kite - in northerly winds :puzzled: mad ...
I wore wrist wraps cos I was paranoid but they worked fine and didn't bother me at all ... I'm a bit of a wreck today though, haven't done this much
exercise in months! Forearms especially are nuked!

You can't see any wobbling in the videos either - in fact, I was filming another guy with a kitewing by hand and the picture doesn't even wobble like
I know it was doing ... must be the wide angle being compressed down to TV width smoothing out the image ...
