Lake Dillon Colorado,
Wind finally kicked in Saturday and Sunday and I was truely humbled by the experts, wind was 25 to 30 and gusting to 35+mph, half dozen guys were
flying 10 to14meter kites when I was scared to get my smallest kite out, they actually flew upwind about 10 miles to the other end of the lake and
back with lots of big air tricks in between, now I know what I want to be when I grow up.:shocked2:

Sounds like you still enjoyed yourself. It would have been fun to watch those guys pulling off those big air tricks. I know how you feel though. Now
that I have gotten myself moving a solid line I just want to progress to a level where I can pull off huge air and tricks. I guess everything comes
with practice though.

You know....this dude that I've been flying with just started this summer on a Cabrinha Switchblade 12m but the guy is fearless and progressing in
leaps & bounds. I envy him but am happy to be around when he does what he does 'cuz peer pressure works wonders for me ; )
I'd say the most important thing is knowing your gear and how to fly it well. He knows his, I knew mine so today's fun on the ridge was simply a
matter of getting timings right.
Still, we both watched the locals huck higher than we did off our ridge....from FLAT GROUND!
One day.....(maybe this winter yet ; )
