Hey Dean thanks for posting that link. You brought back some great memories for me with that news letter. I used to work for Catch the Wind in
Lincoln City with John Waters, and was on the beach (getting paid to fly!) when John and Peter flew that big beasty for the first time after john
reworked it.
Wish I would have put Adams twin brother in a closet back then. Would have loved to bring it with to NABX to show Peter.
Thanks againKamikuza - 2-2-2010 at 09:41 PM

Love him or hate him Peter has been there from the beginning or at least from the modern beginning! He will also be at our event along with many
pioneers of modern kite traction.
He named the buggy, 'kite-buggy' in honor of our patron saint, George Po#@%$#!, whose invention will be 184 years old this year!
Over 184 years of kite traction celebrated this year, can you believe it!?

I went to work for Peter in 1994. In the kite workshop there was a poster that said: A nuclear bomb can ruin your whole day.
In pencil below it said: ...so can Peter.
We call him, 'the Master of Disaster'!
come find out why!

That's so funny.

I figure Peter is one of the smartest walking-around people I've ever met.
Every time I hang with him I learn tons of new things.
Some of it quite unlikely, or so it had seemed.
And then to come and buggy with him is so great.
Some day I hope to buggy as fast going forward as Peter does going backward.
Safen Up! Buggy On!

True that Corey.
I thought i could buggy till i buggy'd with Peter. He lent me a kite at Daytona Beach in 92, i think and told me he was flying the same kite. He
wanted to compare them.
Fair enough i thought. Except that the whole time he buggy'd backwards, always beating me, while i went the right way.
Then he say, 'must be the kite, let's switch' and beat me again!
