Check out the live beach cam at to 2003 Engadine Kite Surfing World Cup in Silvaplana Switzerland. I can certainly be found wandering past the cam
from time to time. Ill be the one in orange shorts and a green hat (fashion statement):

So far we have had enough wind to get on the water and warm up with some great tricks, but not quit enough to start the competition. Hopefully the
wind will improve over the next 4 days.

Here in our fourth day there is still no sign of useable wind. So today we changed the official venue to a rider vs. judges volleyball tournament. The
judges lost but we all shared the prize beer.
We have just one last chance for competition conditions tomorrow.

Well, although everyone who attended the Engadin Wind 2003 Kitesurfing World Cup enjoyed a week in the sunny Swiss Alps, we only got to kite surf for
about about one hour on the first day of the event. From then on, there would not even be enough wind to bother setting up the kites.
Sadly we were unable to run the official competition, but we made several fun events instead. After the judges and managers lost miserably to the
riders in the volleyball match, we topped the event with a swim race around the lake markers. Results were mixed, but all enjoyed the prize beer.
60 new pics of the Engadin Wind 2003 have been added to the Doomwheels Photo Gallery (kitesurfing album):
