I having started to buggy on grass fields and parks with a beamer 3m and reactor 4.9 and it seems I continue to get the kite too far ahead of the
buggy and out of the window... Very frustrating as I stall the kite alot.... I just cant seem to keep it in the window for long... Advice
appreciated!

So your lines slack and the kite falls, correct? If so you are probably not flying out of the window but rather driving into the kite. Try turning
away from the kite (hardening up) to put the kite off to your side instead of in front of you. Keeping your lines tight will keep the kite from
stalling. Check out the tutorials at Coastal Wind Sports. They are quite helpful. Hope this helps, and welcome to the forum

Even though I thought I knew not to do this-- it must be what I am doing. Now can you help me with getting some wind in Illinois? Looks like I might

Everybody does this or has this problem at first. Had a student this AM with the same thing. The kite always flies where you tell it to, so the
smart-alec answer is don't fly the kite to the edge of the window. Before it gets there, re-direct it up then back to your side, then dip back down.
Rinse and repeat until you get the speed needed to keep up with the kite. Then the edge of the window will move back to where it is at your side and
slightly ahead of you.
Remember that the window is always dead downwind of the APPARENT wind, (the kite the wind "sees" due to your forward motion), so as you accelerate,
the window moves from your side to slightly behind you. This way when the kite is at t the edge of the window, the edge of the window has moved to a
place that is useful to you.
Heliboy is right too. By moving upwind for a moment you are effectively moving the wind window so that the kite is now back in the belly of the
window, but if you keep om turning upwind, the window and the kite move behind you and it is all over. :wee: (OBE). Once you develop some speed
with this, you have the apparent wind to needed to fall off and return to your beam reach (across the wind) without dropping the kite.

There hasn't been much wind here for ages either.
