Here's an interesting read, I'm sure everyone's probably heard something along these lines before.

Reading another post about static discharge I decided to look up some information, this one was of the first hits.

I especially like the image of the Venom up there at the top :)

Will these generators have a special automated system that can run upwind at a frenzied pace while yanking on the lines whenever a gust causes the kite to collapse and fall? :lol:

Seen that video on YouTube ...

... but again, it's a nice idea just not practical. At all. We all know how fickle the bloody wind can be - wouldn't want to rely on it to power my home.
Now, waves on the other hand, never stop moving ...
