Just two loops instead of a bar? Can't see any advantage to this - except you could pull one side while the other holds steady.

I considered flying my Alasca on loops rather than a bar. Advantage: depower range would not be limited to the travel of the bar; turning should be enhanced you can make greater difference between rear lines than you can with a bar. Disadvantage: you are not able to fly one handed.
Maybe I will give it a try this spring.

looks like the paragliding and kite boarding are starting to blend a lil bit. more power to them i say. who says its all sorted out with a bar any way. innovation is what started the whole kite boarding and buggying in the first place. does look a lil scary i did not see a safety, may have missed it.

Interesting setup. The harness seems to be simple but an expanded seat harness. Spreader bar seems simple enough too. I wonder what his line lengths are. I have a paraglider but I can't really fly it in less wind than my 11m Neo. I am not sure there is much of an advantage to flying like this. The guy does get some amazing air, more flying than snowkiteing some times.
