Man, I can't wait til I can ride like that! Lake Erie is supposed to be like that at this time of year, but once again my dreams have been shot down by crappy conditions.

Wow.....THAT'S "POW"!

What a great vantage point - just confirms my suspicions that, once the board skills are down you have a much better view of things when it comes time to start sending the kite around and boosting. I only recently remembered last winter's epiphany of popping when the kite lines leave my peripheral vision.....not a very solid cue IMO. I think if the kite's out in front of you you'll be able to time it much better.

I gotta get back out there.....

I think the only way I'll get to snow like that is driving for several days north of here, or heading over to the US/Canada ... probably cheaper to fly over and camp in Mac's yard

Ah, but just wait until next winter. Just last night I finished a little project I'd been working on:

(Pic isn't mine but it's the same snow gun that I built)

Confirmed: PKF has its fair share of mad scientists.

Alas, my own experimentations with snow guns and freeze rays have faired less well.... eventually leading to a request for aid to the local authorities.

I expect I must continue to recompense muncipal funds for a bit longer.

ATB,
Sam

Dude, You live in Nebraska and you don't have snow like that? When I lived in Valentine we had crazy amounts of snow. We usually have snow here about an hour north but only one real snowstorm this year. Oh well, maybe next year.

our best snow this year was like 6"
i guess its good enough to get goin... but not like this guy, miles to fly and ride... i don have that in the best of conditions
