If you are going as a spectator do you need to register?macboy - 11-3-2010 at 09:58 PM
I registered my wife as a......guest was it? Participant? No, it was less $$ whatever it was. Guest I think. Anyway - she can/will partake in all the
non-kite goodies (like food and fun). It's a small price to pay to be part of the "crew" as it were and support the cause. I was happy to see it was
an option - I've been to some events / tourneys / festivals where we have to negotiate special permissions and it tends to be a bit of a pain -
especially since we're more on the shy/quiet side of the spectrum.ripsessionkites - 12-3-2010 at 02:59 AM
i put Kitebuggy Mama as Participant, even though she will not be riding but holding the siderails as we go for max speed
do guests get a T-Skirt and everything else???deanaoxo - 12-3-2010 at 07:14 AM
Yes, they do.
Here's the deal. We do the guest thing because we know some of you bring family and friends who just want to watch, but they want to eat and have a
shirt, so we figured, what the heck, let's make it happen! I mean, it's our event, ain't it?
We've been informed though, that anyone who rides or fly's a power kite needs to be a participant. This is an insurance issue. That is the deal
there.
So, if you are going to watch, you may be a guest.
If you are going to play, please pay.
