So my new buggy and harness show up today courtesy of TracktRob (thank you sir) and the #$%$ wind for tomorrow sucks! What the hell!!!! It has been
blowing like a low class hurricane all week while I am at work and now......tomorrow....nothing.
Frickin' 4 mph wind and I have a 4m kite! This happened when I got both of my kites too...the first couples days I had them they would just fold up
in the air and fall.
Is this some kind of curse for something bad I did in a former life?
Sorry guys....I had to vent.Houston AirHead - 12-3-2010 at 06:46 PM

even hit the islands Sunday.

kite and then BAM.....nothing.:singing:indigo_wolf - 12-3-2010 at 08:55 PM

Yup... same thing here. Just bought a 19m Synergy...
No wind, melting snow (soggy ground) and rain every day.
I need 3-4 days in the mid 50s and 60s with sunlight to dry the fields out.kitemaker4 - 14-3-2010 at 07:34 AM
Hey Shooter
Where in south Texas are you located?

Hey Indigo it must be ripping to blow penquins that far!! We have had heavy rain for a couple days and before that for the last few weeks barely
enouph wind to fly the little kids kites.indigo_wolf - 14-3-2010 at 10:02 AM
All the wee furry ones are casting looks of recrimination at me for not ordering an ark for my birthday. The winds kept them up last night, and they
kept everyone else up.
Lots of horizontal rain in the past 24-48 hours... some standing water in the yard. Expect if it had been cold enough for snow, things would have
been considerably more interesting and the EMT/fire station sirens would have been blaring 24/7.
Weather station said gusts to 50-60 last night and that sounds about right.

Sounds like someone else has found the new kite curse. If you buy high wind kite then no wind for the next month, and if you buy a low wind kite then
mental winds for the next month.Txshooter38 - 15-3-2010 at 04:56 PM
KiteMaker....I am in Kerrville...just west of San Antonio by an hour.
