Hi all, been looking for a beginner kite approx. 3m. prefer bar like the beamer TSR but most on here for sale are handles. Ebay has a bunch of
kites called the Sensei III for about 150-200$ was wondering if anyone here has any exp. with them . it's a 2-line not 4. I know a 4 line is way
better in terms of control, but what if the 4 line kite is on a bar ? non depower of course. would there be that much of a difference ? It's
mostly marketed as a trainer for kite surfing, but states that it's good for use with boards on land as well. any thought greatly appreciated.

Sensie is not too bad a deal.
It is a truly relaunchable 2 line. The main draw back I saw with it was that it doesn't come with a static loop for hooking in.
If you want to stick with a bar and want it as a kiteboard trainer , it's a good deal.

4 line kites on bars are great. My 5m Ozone Flow(not depower) is on a bar. The disadvantages are that a 4 line fixed bridle does turn slower on a bar
than it would on handles, mainly due to the fact that the brake lines are usually stationary or attached to the center of the bar, unless you get one
with a crossover style bar. But with several kites on the market that are offered with bars as an option you are able to hook into a harness as well.
Most of the fixed bridle kites(not depower) that are available with bars do fly very well, you just have to activate the brake lines differently. The
Ozone Flow(2-5m) for example on a bar, has a center strap that you can pull on to pull the brake lines. If you want a Power stunt kite on a bar then
the Sensei is great, however if you want a true power kite then you should look at kites like the OZONE FLOW, OZONE IMP trainer or the Beamer TSR,
just to name a few.

Thanks for the advice guys. i'll probably keep looking here for a 4 line power kite on a bar. thats what I really wanted anyway. Figure it would
be the best option for when I start to actually use it with a board or buggy as well.

FWIW:
Angus currently has a 4M and 5M HQ on clearance now.
He also has a 3M Scout coming off flight demo flight line, that you could probably do some horse trading on.
The Scout comes with a cross-over bar (when you initiate a turn, the opposite brake is automtaically applied to speed up and tighten the turn).
The Scout is definitely marketed for the board, but you might want to confirm with Angus whether it would be suitable for the buggy.
