I WANT THESE WHEELS

silvereaglekiter - 15-3-2010 at 09:51 AM

Found this trolling the net.

Silly thing to put a engine on but the 12"wide wheels are sweet.

I did a similar rig, Go with a front tire with less of an edge or you will get speed wobbles. Been there, done that! Lookin good!

I had golf cart tires on the back of my buggy at first. Looked just like the ones on the axle. But no sideways grip. I just fish tailed all over the feild. I went with a more agressive tread.

They are golf cart wheels. I had them for a suspension axle idea I have not got around to yet

I would try it if you have them. Is you don't like them just change over to a differant tire on the same rims. I went with mostly warn out ATV tires, the knobby type. Gripps well on turns now. But a bit to grabby sometimes :dunno:

I have always wondered how sand tiers would work on the side pull Issue.

I have a few of those Blacktails.. I will give it a shot when I get my Buggy finished up.. with some Zipper rear sand tires
