Looking for a buggy engine

scheffdogg - 20-3-2010 at 12:37 AM

Hey guys. I have had a buggy for about a year now and have not had much chance to ride the thing because I don't have a proper engine for it. I currently fly a 7m cabrinha and feel that it is too large. I thinks something around 4-5m would be a great fit. I am not looking to pay much more than $150 + shipping. I don't mind old gear as long as it works and isnt going to rip the frist time I use it. Let me know if anyone has anything. Thanks!

youre prob not going to find anything in that price range... i suggest looking at trackrobs post for some excellent libre kites... great buggy engines, and a good guy to deal with

look for a post in for sale titled LIBRE BORA

I think a 5m fixed bridle is going to produce more power than a 7m Cabrina. Assuming the Cabrina is a depower.

Thanks for the tip dylan... I sent him a U2U about the 3.7M.

Yea the Cabrina is a depower. I have never even flown a fixed bridle. Do you think the 3.7M would work decent?

A 7m depower should be just fine for using in a buggy. I use an 8m Manta as my small depower buggy kite.

go to www.panshkite.com

get your self a 4.5 meter legend.

there is no debate here for the cost you want to pay.

legends really do live up to their name, no question

My cabrina works but it turns on a dime and is very touchy. I would like something that turns a little more slowly. Any suggestions? I am not the most experienced rider. Thanks for the help guys!
