i'll say it.... no bucket?

looked wild... i've never tried jumping on shorty lines... and i dont think i will, lol

is this you?

Hardrock - 22-3-2010 at 01:44 PM

I didn't know you could go to a double line from a four line.

It looks pretty crazy trying to jump on such short lines.

But then again, I don't know much about flying.

Seems the kiting sport involves more knowledge than one can learn in a few years. But I do know that guy is looking for pain.

Dang, just throw a leg over the lines while the kites up!!! I can't wait to try that one.

Drew, give this a try and post some pointers, please.

When i flew an ace a couple years ago, it didn't like brakes but that needed a little bit of brake to keep it from overflying. Wow, that would be scary to fly a kite that size with no brakes. No way I fly it on short lines like that. Things would happen too fast.

Dude, New England is not overseas. England is though. Glad it wasn't you though. That last fall didn't look fun.

Looks like he was having a good time untill is spanked his a$$ onto ground.

furbowski - 23-3-2010 at 08:42 AM

dang.... I'd love to see this vid but I'm stuck behind the great chinese firewall :flaming:

does sound weird... my 12 is a brake-hungry beast to turn with 25m lines, and if I'm getting it right this guy was on 3m lines to the front bridles and on wrist straps?

2 more days til I can see it....

Kamikuza - 23-3-2010 at 04:47 PM

I think he left his safety gear with his brain, neither of which appear to be in the video.
